Two things amaze me about the elections in America. 1. Why is it so difficult to get it right, you never seem to hear about problems in any other developed countries? In the UK we vote, they are counted, the next day we know who won and I can't remember there ever being a major problem with the process - I'm not gloating there, it just seems a simple thing to get right after so many hundreds of years of democracy.
2. Why do some people seem to think that it's not important that the votes are counted correctly? This is the absolute cornerstone of a democracy - if you can't trust the voting process then you may as well live in a dictatorship. --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
