If by cloned you mean that AMD is making their processors fully compatable with the x86 architecture, then yes. If you mean that they have just followed in the engineering footsteps of Intel, then no. And even though AMD is putting out a superior product at the moment, I don't think you can say that Intel will "clone" AMD now either. Both companies have brilliant engineers that are taking different approaches to the same problems.
