DeLay Appears To Be Off The Hook http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/11/22/politics/main656960.shtml --- Gruss Gott <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Stealing your liberties, spending your children's > money, or waiving > ethics for their own the neo-cons can do, but > actually doing what's > critical to protect our country, well, they just > can't see eye to eye > on that: > > http://news.ft.com/cms/s/8abb1bf0-3bd3-11d9-8b17-00000e2511c8.html > > or > > http://www.nytimes.com/2004/11/21/politics/21panel.html Posting two links to the same story doesn't give you a stronger case :) Now I think your upset that Bush doesn't have a rubber stamp to do what he wants. I don't get it. Two people hold this bill up and the world is ending. I think it's a good thing that they stood up to Bush and didn't toe the part line. The issues here are safety of the troops in the front lines and drivers licenses for illegal aliens. Both are important issues and need to be ironed out. I personally like the idea of a national ID cards for illegal aliens but didnt know it was approved already. Seems like someone snuck it in here. -sm __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
