I'm sure those fans are going to pay for it. But we also have an idea in this country that there are police and other government agencies tasked with keeping the peace and dealing with offenders.
Right up until the point where Artest jumped into the stands he was the victim, he committed a hard foul, but that was it, the fans reacted inappropriately, and then he reacted in a way that was even worse. He has no place in the NBA is he is going to act like that. -----Original Message----- From: Won Lee [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, November 22, 2004 3:10 PM To: CF-Community Subject: Re: NBA I guess this is what makes this such a interesting story. I feel that Artest, while acting out of line, didn't do anything to warrant a permanent suspension. He has been made a scape goat for the deficiencies of the NBA, Detroit Pistons, and Indiana Pacers. Someone has to pay for that Malice in the Palace and it's a lot easier to get a couple of guys worth about $30M then round up a bunch of people. I wouldn't go as far as to applaud his behavior, but I particularly blame him for anything. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Special thanks to the CF Community Suite Gold Sponsor - CFHosting.net http://www.cfhosting.net Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:137508 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
