Yeah, our Explorer is old, 1991, bought it for $1900, and instead of
stepping out and buying new, we just put a new engine in and fixed
everything else on it. The body was perfect and the insides are fair.
Between the new engine and replacing all the parts on it, and I do mean
ALL, we still have not spent as much as it would of cost me to go find a
2 or 3 year old Explorer and insure it.

And because we barely drive anywhere right now, it's makes total
economic sense. It's not like we live in it, and I could care less about
impressing anyone with it.

No car payments is just too nice.

I'd rather spend money on upgrading our boat. :D
