Having lived in the part of British Columbia where a lot of the outdoor growing takes place I've seen a lot of the same stuff 'Gel mentioned. People would take off into the mountains for the growing season and then later on in the year would buy trucks, houses etc with cash. It really supported the economy so much so that the crown prosecutors were finding it very difficult to convict growers - the local juries refused to give a guilty verdict.
In a lot of the areas now in BC what is happening now is that people are buying houses and converting them into hydroponic growing operations. Its so profitable that a gang can afford to lose 2 or 3 $400,000 houses and still turn over 200-300 % profits. larry On Mon, 6 Dec 2004 14:32:15 -0500, Nick McClure <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Here the solution to poverty is growing and selling it.
