I have to agree. I attended 12 years of Catholic education including 12 as a seminarian. In every Biology class I was taught that the theory of evolution as proposed by Charles Darwin was a legitimate theory and that it did not contradict Catholic dogma. Questions about creationism and intelligent design were referred to religion class.
These were dealt with in a proper forum.
