I tried using Calc once. It feels the same but inferior. Believe it or
not, I still use DDE. I know DDE is no longer a supported feature in
Excel but for some reason all our data vendors include a DDE package to
get realy time data updates in Excel. I think I might have 5 Excel
spread sheets with about 100 DDE links in each worksheet. All files are
over 250 Megs.

But even without DDE, I can't imagine using another spreadsheet. I
spend about 3 hours a day in Excel and think it is a top notch product.
Probably the best product MS makes. I have friends that spend 90% of
their day in Excel and no one really complains about Excel. Maybe the
work but not Excel. The only semi-complaint I have is that you can't
undo after a save. I'm almost always hitting CTRL+S after every key
stroke because I know what it feels like to loose 50 megs worth of
spread sheet data.
