And the Dutch already do it, somewhat. 3 weeks ago I was passing out of the EU via Schipol and I was individually interviewed, had my tickets and flight plan checked 3 times, and had my bags checked 3 times: once on the way into the airport, once on the way to the int'l flights, and once before i got onto flight. The last time is right after the interview and is around a blind corner where they've got a person who is just watching everyone while your bags are re-x-rayed. I think this method is very secure and I wonder why it's not done in the US or elsewhere in the EU. I don't think that's any illusion of security - it real security. Look at El Al's record. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Special thanks to the CF Community Suite Gold Sponsor - CFHosting.net http://www.cfhosting.net Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:141148 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
