When you hire Scott Boras as your agent, you declare loud and clear that money is the only thing you care about. Because Boras will ALWAYS sign you with the best offer. If SB scored Beltran a deal worth 110+ for 7 years with the Mets, and Beltran declines it to sign a lesser deal with the Astros, I wouldn't be surprised to see Boras drop Beltran.
