And remember that different nations of the UK have their own drafted laws
(as well as state law).

No it is not a crime and should never be regarded as such.   To say it's a
crime is to say that religion is 'real' and for those who do not believe in
it should not be tarnished.  Racism is a crime because creed and colour are
real and tangible so people who are racially motivated should be
punished/banned etc...
