I'm trying to look for a good shourt course statistics online but I
can't seem to find anything. This type of stats is called probability.
It is supposed to be the easiest and most intuitive of all the
disciplines in stats. Stats is the backbone of many of the largest
industries including finance (insurance, trading, risk management) and
gambling. Columbia actually has a Department of Statistics and it's own
seperate building outside the math department. I think this is common
in other large universities too.
