A) I don't know what to say to this.

B) Lack of funds to purchase necessary books and practice exams is a 
valid reason for not being able to prepare. More importantly, bias is 
not something that can be just overcome with test prep.  An extreme 
example of bias would be this.  You are told you are going to take a 
test for a position in company ABC.  You go to take the test except the 
administrators used a dilect you can't understand.  His directions are 
confusing.  It takes you 30 minutes to realize that "Th'e" is what you 
always knew as "The."


C) Universities do not have control over poor school systems.  They have 
control over their admission program.  In this case they would be 
exerting control and influence over something they can.


*I can't stress this enough.  Some of the most competitive state 
universities, including Michigan, Virginia, and UNC have some sort of AA 
policy.  Smart people think this is a good thing.  The Supreme Court 
thinks the smart people, under the Constitution, should be allowed to do 
this.
