Mine does the same thing - she always has water out... but she truly prefers the toilet. I assume because it's fresher but who knows, maybe she just likes the posture. ;^) She also won't touch canned cat food (her dish is full of dry) - she gets enough sliced turkey and tuna from our sandwich making to offset that, but she just won't touch any canned food.
