A couple points... I agree that parents should talk to their kids about the issue of homosexuality, but at what age? I don't think however that PBS should be the one to assume what parents want by way of their kids and being exposed to lifestyles. We need to put the emphasis onto the parents to monitor their children and find a good time to talk about homosexuality, etc. By making a statement such as "Many parents would not want their young children exposed to the lifestyles portrayed in the episode," Spellings wrote in a letter sent Tuesday to Pat Mitchell, president and chief executive officer of PBS" Only leads me one to believe that what is being held back is "bad" instead of being portrayed as a complex issue to discuss with someone who could be bery young. I find it hard to believe that people will make a stink about this yet not say one word about the TV shows on Fox, MTV, etc that portray half naked people, sex all over the place, foul language, etc... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Find out how CFTicket can increase your company's customer support efficiency by 100% http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=49 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:144824 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
