You forgot violence! I can't count the number of times that we've been watching an innocuous sitcom at 7:30. Typically at 8:00 or a little earlier, my wife and I have gotten up and started to the the baths ready for the kids. Unfortunately, the next show starts and nowadays it seems like their all crime dramas. That in itself isn't so bad, but it seems all of the crime shows open with someone dying a violent death and already being dead with a pole through their head. The show will have no opening title and go straight to this type of scene. I have a lot more of a problem with this being viewed by my 4 year old as she'll probably have nightmares. This has happened twice already. Now, as far as I can remember, she didn't have any nightmares when she saw Janet Jackson's breast on the Superbowl Telecast. It was me who had the nightmares.
