I need to open up an investment account and want to do it online. What companies do you like? Why? What is the best way to go to actually start some investments?
I'm just coming out of debt, finally have an emergency nest egg of 6 months saved and have some money now to start putting to work for me. It's been a long hard haul especially since I am just coming out of a divorce (got that finalized yesterday). Any and all suggestions are appreciated. I know the market is not what it was earlier, I am willing to take some risk at this point.
