My wife called and told me she got a speeding ticket on I64 in Illinois this morning. It wasn't a radar trap, she got caught by the police's light aircraft and the markings on the road. It's one thing to use radar, we can buy a radar detector. However, how do you counter aircraft? The sucky part is I64 is basically straight mile after mile. 65MPH is, in our opinion, about 10MPH too slow for that stretch of highway. Oh, well. That reminds me, I got ticketed for having a radar detector in VA a couple of months ago.
