Nope, it definitely is SMS capable - one way though - it is pretty old 
phone, we are waiting for some prices to come down to get new ones.  I 
guess that I will look out for ones that are more SMS compatible.  What 
does one-way SMS capable mean?

I know that I can send and receive text messages.  So, if I am reading this 
correctly, I cannot send text messages using SMS and ICQ until I upgrade my 
phone.
