Shoot! You pre-empted all of my smarta55 remarks. One questions I do
have, though, is why do all NASCAR fans drive SUVs and/or pickup
trucks?

I mean it's odd that they'd enjoy watching driving more than actually
driving themselves and would choose the worst performing vehicles.

Especially these days when there are so many great performing cars for
so little dough. Here's just a few examples off of the top of my
head:

1.) Ford Focus SVT
2.) Ford Mustang GT
3.) Dodge Magnum
4.) Dodge Neon SRT (under $20K!)
5.) Mitsubishi Evolution VIII
6.) Subaru WRX STi
7.) Honda Civic Si
8.) Toyota Spyder
9.) Pontiac GTO
10.) Chevy Impala

Any of these could be track toys right off the lot or you could buy
them really cheap used. You could actually drive like NASCAR guys for
relatively low cost.
