I think we are saying the same thing.  Different people have different
situations and different goals.  Typically a complete financial plan
will include an amount of several financial tools, but in some cases
it may include them all.

It just irks me when I hear people say things like "No-one needs Life
Insurance" or "Life Insurance is a waste of money" as if it's an
absolute truth and good advice for everyone.
