I saw Tony Orlando a couple of weeks ago.  This took place in Casino
Aztar here in Evansville.  Since he only had a handful of popular songs,
I asked my wife how he was going to fill an entire set...

Eventually, he started doing the classic cover songs from his
generation.  In fact, his keyboardist/guitarist did half of the singing
while Tony would repeat the lyrics.  (Sort of rappish.)

You could also tell the show was "canned" in that Tony would plan his
"unplanned" comments and the band would just happen to play a related
song.

Oh, well, it was still a pretty good show since it didn't cost anything.

Dawn was nowhere to be found.  :'(
