Was it small pastrami or was it roast beef with seasoning? Was it spicy brown homemade mustard? You should have had it on rye and with a Brooklyn Lager. But since you were on the left coast and they don't sell Brooklyn Lager and they really push the sourdough in SF, sounds like the next best thing to a NY pastrami sandwich:)
