Well the review kinda sucked, but we had a blast out there even though it was only a day (although my wife spent all week there). If you can stay downtown by the Ferry building (it's full of markets, shops, and restraurants but not too touristy). You can hang out there for your first day and night plus it's near this alley with lots of outdoor restraurants that's jumpin. The next day go back and get breakfast at the Ferry Building and then walk north up Embarcadero to the Fisherman's Wharf area, see the seals, the kitsch, and the views and then walk back down Columbus. It goes through some cool areas, the best being Chinatown and this famous bookstore where Beatniks hang out. Lots of weed and incense smells around there! The next day I'd get a car and think about going to a few places. You can get a car downtown at Enterprise which is south of the Ferry building on Market. One drive I like is to head over the baybridge to Oakland. Head south on 580 to Golf Links Blvd and tk it. It turns into skyline blvd which is an awesome drive and takes you all the way to Berkeley (They call it "Cal"). Be warned I haven't done this for 10 years, but Belinda Carlise used to live up there so maybe it's still nice. Also cool is Biking in Marin County over the GG bridge rocks and Half Moon Bay is awesome. You used to be able to rent horses there and ride them on the beach! I could spend a whole week just downtown though! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Discover CFTicket - The leading ColdFusion Help Desk and Trouble Ticket application http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=48 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:150338 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
