Mrs Shiavo, before her accident, agreed to give Mr. Shiavo equal
access and control of her financial, medical, and personal life.  It's
not our business to question her judgement and wondering if Mr. Shiavo

Probably, but the whole idea is that Mrs. Shiavo said if she had to be
kept alive on machines she'd prefer to shut them off.  So he claims to
be carrying out her wishes.
