Well let's count the hypocrisies:

1.) The Texas legislation Mr. Bush signed into law authorizing the
exact opposite of his position here,

2.) The malpractice suit Mr. Schiavo won would be limited or
disallowed under Mr. Bush (this money is what had been keeping Ms.
Schiavo alive), and

3.) Mr. Bush's budget proposal cuts Medicaid, the already underfunded
program that is keeping Mr. Schiavo alive!

He's a classic bleeding heart liberal: all manner of causes he wants
someone else to pay for.
