There are reports of broken bones -- verterbrae and femur I believe. I am not sure how much credence to give this as it isn't being reported in a publication I would normally cite, but on the other hand the publications I would normally cite keep saying she had an eating disorder, which is only speculation on Schiavo's part, as a look at the original documents will demonstrate.
I hope they do a full exam and do it in some other jurisdiction. I realize we're determine to make sure we resolve the matter too late for it to matter, but at least it *will* be resolved.
