The range is getting a little better in some areas. Some companies
here have started using repeaters more effectively to increase range.
But FTTP is probably going to be the bigger change.

My nearest CO doesn't even have DSL even though my telco claims to
offer it. I keep hoping that maybe they're holding off in anticipation
of a fiber rollout.
