Ugh, I've never liked these type of arguments.

It is simply impossible to affectively inject yourself into every single 
situation that exists involving an issue in which you feel strongly about. 
As a person, you can only do what you can do.

Arguing that someone's concern about a cause is bogus simply because their 
ability to affect that cause is limited....seems seriously flawed to me.
