This isn't a tax cut - it's a subsidy to the wealthy. If you don't cut spending, then cutting revenue is just more spending. All of your arguments make perfect sense yet what you're missing is the reality: The same Republicans that put forward this "cause" also crafted and voted for record amounts of pork! See the problem? First they reward the ultra-rich with the revocation of the "death tax" (what percentage of family farms do you think there are vs. millionaires? if they're worried about farms why not just make the exemption for farms?) Next they reward each senator with record amounts of pork, but they don't have the money to pay for the pork or the cuts, so they borrow it. And, if that weren't enough, they structure the payback so that only $9 billion hits in the first 10 years with a $281 billion payment in the next 5. That's not spreading it out, that's hiding the downside until you've forgotten what's happened. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Find out how CFTicket can increase your company's customer support efficiency by 100% http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=49 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:152453 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
