We are not against learning new technology and have welcomed the .net guy and look forward to learning new skill sets however, the idea of being transitioned away from CF to a different technology because of a conversation on an airplane is mind boggling. Especially being nobody has identified specific short comings of CF or advantages of .NET. I know that both have their strengths and weaknesses but shouldn't decision makers be able to identify specific reasons for making their decision.
