....Subject: Money Well Spent?
....
....My son just got home from school - apparently it was "Lead Awareness" day
....or
....something.
....
....He brought home a "goody bag" of things promoting lead poisoning
....awareness.
....A t-shirt, a ruler, a comic/coloring book, stickers, a button, etc.
....Several
....things suggested that you should test your house for lead paint using
....inexpensive testing kits available at any hardware store.
....
....All I could think was "could they have spent the same amount of (or less)
....money and just sent home a lead testing kit?" Last I remember buying one
....it
....was a helluva lot cheaper than a t-shirt.
