So, I wasn't going to weigh in on this again...but...

that suggests that liberals by-and-large do not care to listen to
others... In my experience that is not true. In fact I would say that
if there is one flaw in a forming liberal platform it is that they
listen too much and can't form a cohesive strategy.

"Liberal" platform problems
1. Everyone's input is just as important as everyone else's (nice in
theory, not a good way to run a business and yes, politics is a
business)
2. Everyone's position on an issue is valid (same problem)
3. There's too much input.

In my own experience, I listen to Air America for a few minutes and
then think to myself, "how is this better than what Limbaugh does?" A
voice that is "equal and opposite" doesn't make for a better listening
experience for me. Al Franken is, quite frankly, guilty of the same
things he charges O'Reilly and Limbaugh of, he's as much a blowhard as
the others... Randi Rhodes is better, but still manages to froth a
lot. Hey, maybe there's a demographic that they're trying to hit, but
it ain't me...

....then I go and look for music... :-P
