I can agree somewhat with the liberal assessment. Maybe they don't like 
having people tell them what to do. I take issue with your conservative line 
though. Maybe conservatives like to hear people confirm what they already 
believe.

Now, on to another point. Another reason why liberal radio probably fails is 
the wide range of views in the liberal political spectrum. It would be hard 
for a host to appease this whole range of views. Any attempt is going to 
piss off one faction who will immediately rail against the show. It is very 
similar to the Democrats problem over the last few years: In trying to be 
all things to all people, they end stepping on their own toes.
