Yeah, as the piece points out, conservative groups have been doing this for years. One thing that I've pointed out before is how pollster Frank Lutz was hired by the Republicans to find a new term for the "estate tax" which nobody cared about because it was accurately called the "estate tax". Mr. Lutz found out that by calling it the "death tax" all of a sudden everyone cared. Mr. Reagan called this an "80 percenter" - find an issue 80% of people agree on then force it out at the same time through all channels. The other side will have to disagree and that'll immediately make them look stupid and you'll win. "estate tax" is a 20 percenter and "death tax" is an 80 percenter. You need think tanks to come up with this stuff. How do you think they stay rich? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Purchase Studio MX with Flash Pro from House of Fusion, a Macromedia Authorized Affiliate and support the CF community. http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=51 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:154793 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
