I have not read it.  But it's been holding up my monitor for nearly a year
now and in that regard it has truly excelled!  Highly recommended!

(Seriously I've really not read it - but I read the first book in that WROX
chain: "Beginning Java Objects" and it WAS excellent.  If you're really new
to Java start there instead of Ivor's 10 pound manifesto.)
