Well, If it is a 2D cad floorplan let's say, from Architectural plans, then it's near impossible to 'easily' convert it to a 3D.
I was looking fora tool for the longest while that would do this, then I realised just how impossible it would be unless the functionality was built into the cad tool,a nd Autocad doesn't really support any '3D convert' from 2D Plans. If you can find out how this can be done, let me know.
