You're approaching the series the wrong way. Lucas is incapable of 
delivering anything with the depth or social commentary of the people you 
mentioned. As such, he has no intention of doing so, and his audience has no 
intention of viewing anything of that sort.

For me, it's really very simple. When I was 10, I watched the star wars 
movies, and loved them. There are more star wars movies out now, and it's a 
relatively inexpensive way to reconnect to and reminisce about my youth.
