I was in fifth grade at that time.  Christa was from a school about 40 
miles from there, and my teachers knew her.  They were sooo upset when 
it happened that we all had to go home that day.  Weird though, I 
remember all the teachers left the room sobbing as soon as it happened, 
and our whole class was there watching it on TV - over and over and over 
again.  Nobody stopped the TV, nothing.  Weird that we all remember 
something so vividly at such a young age.  I mean, I remember nothing 
else from that era - at least not anything as well etched in my brain as 
it was that day.  I even remember what I was wearing.
