Is it just me or is it utterly ridiculous to assume that any new version of an OS is a complete rewrite? >From my take so far it seems like at least 80-90% of LongHorn will be the same (or slightly modified) code from Windows 2003. Just as most of that code was from Windows XP just as most of that code was from Windows 98 and so on. The major new features (Avalon and Indigo) will be .NET - just as you'd expect, I think.
