I think they (personal Assistants) already exist and are referred to as spouses and the pay is crappy.
More seriously, it seems to me that it would a challenge. You would have to be pretty close to me to know what I am doing. If you didn't know what I was doing how would you handle my correspondence? I don't know how much help it would be to have someone remote. I need a more hands on person. However, if I could just have you handle all the little details that keep me from getting things accomplished that would be worth something. If you were to: Hire and pay all the service people (pool, lawn etc... "none of which I have") Find a plumber when one is needed, get an appliance repairperson when needed, wait all day for the phone company / cable guy to show up, bring the car to the detailer, pick up dry cleaning, get the dog to the groomer, return my movies to Blockbuster, get the car tuned up etc... Oh yeah and remind me of my wife's birthday, valentines day, anniversary, mom's b-day etc.. Oh crap just get the damn cards, sign them and send them out and let me know where the reservations for dinner are and what time.
