It's Robert Langdon's first "adventure".  It's not as good as the
DaVinci Code but it's still good.  (Overall I think Mr. Brown is not
the best writer, but he's got a lot of info in there which is what
kept me reading.)

It's very similar to the The DaVinci Code and involves the same sorts
of organizations: Knights Templar, the Illuminati, etc. and Langdon
getting roped into a crazy adventure from a sound sleep.

It's worth reading and there were lots of references to it in TDC, but
you wouldn't have recognized them.
