Yes, you're correct. I'm sure that the membership list of these groups is not open to the public. However, the list is kind of exclusive to well-known renaissance figures that would make for good reading. It's more of a point that I added to make you think about the likelihood of this group, should it exist, consisting of these figures rather than a group of unknown or lesser-known people who would guard the most important secret of all time. Secretive groups aren't like the Mouseketeers -- their membership isn't accessible to general scrutiny. I'm not saying they were, just saying you can't say with certainty that they weren't on the basis of lack of evidence to the contrary. Not saying the DaVinci code is accurate either -- I haven't ever read the book... it just frustrates me to hear people make the same old, tired argument of "well gee, I can't prove x, so x must be untrue", just like any time you point to an average you get all kinds of "sensing" people saying "well if you're saying most people are x and I'm personally not x then you must be full of it" as though they've never learned the definitions of words like "most" or "many" so any of these words must have the same meaning as the word "all". Lack of proof is not the same as proof of a negative and anecdotal information about a specific incident doesn't invalidate a generalization. s. isaac dealey 954.522.6080 new epoch : isn't it time for a change? add features without fixtures with the onTap open source framework http://www.fusiontap.com http://coldfusion.sys-con.com/author/4806Dealey.htm ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Protect your mail server with built in anti-virus protection.
