I have to also inject here that I think a definition of "cheese" needs to be agreed upon, otherwise we are getting a very broad spectrum of horrible, bad, and poor movies.
To me the meaning of a "cheesy" movie, is a movie that you know is pretty badly made, poorly acted or just plain silly, but you still enjoyed watching it. Thus a lot of movies one enjoyed as a child and young adult, when reflected on or seen again later in life, turn out to be very cheesy.
