I'm currently playing with CF7 at home (though I'm having trouble
getting it to work right). As soon as it's running correctly, I'll
start playing with your toys again.

However, I'm wondering a bit about the licence. The LGPL wasn't an
issue back when we were using CF5, as it was interpreted. However, with
CF6+, the code is compiled into Java bytecode. This implies that there
is an "executable" which is linked to the library code. Depending on a
number of things, including your definition of executable, your
interpretation of using a library vs. being a derivative, whether I'm
providing a service or a product, etc., this may imply that I have to
make the source code of a project available to my clients. This is a
problem for me, as our contracts are typically written such that we own
the code (mostly for repurposing and to keep hosting) but the client
owns the data. We're not trying to hold their project hostage, mind you
-- we're willing to sell a licence to the code for them if they want to
be hosted somewhere else -- we just want to recoup some of the hosting
fees we lose.

So, now that I've written a too-long paragraph, I'm going to ask for
your (Issac's) interpretation of this fuzzily defined mess? Anyone else
who wants to chip in, I'm eager to hear from you, too. I just
especially want Isaac's take, since they're his libraries!
