What you are citing here is more than just writing etiquette, it's a guide to writing proper English.
E-mail has had a profound affect, negatively I would say, on the quality of communication using the English language. So, are you going to write a whole missive on the scribing of proper english...ie when to use "their" vs "there"? Or are you tasked to address the etiquettes of communication as they pertain to e-mail specifically?
