No doubt there, but my complaint is the force of morals which SS,
Welfare, and WIC certainly are.  The Democrats want to force me to pay
for these programs, above and beyond other services.  The Republicans
want to take my freedoms to enforce their moral views.

Personal morality views above pursuit-of-happiness should be locally
enacted and enforced only.  Further they should be a matter of
referendum rather than gov't officials.

One lifestyle issue, for me, is sports stadiums.  Again and again
Minnesota voters turn down stadium deals yet they keep popping up. 
Now it appears one may go through on a county level despite the
overwhelming objection of the population.
