Check the warranty on that stuff. And google around to find out what people are saying. I've heard nothing but bad things about re-enameling yourself. I've heard only slightly better things about the professional jobs. Most quality contracters will tell you that if you only plan to keep it a few years, go ahead. If you want it longer than that, get a new tub.
