that's exactly it ray! It's awesome. All i have to do is snap my fingers, and my dog freezes and asks itself "ok, what am i doing wrong?". It amazes some of my friends, but there's really no voodoo involved.
Just take the time when it's a puppy, assert dominance early, and the next 10+ years is pure joy. And as an aside, if you have no plans of breeding the dog, and simply want a friendly family pet, i'd recommend a mutt...like a lab mix or something like that.
