I'm going to have to check my military history. But you're right. My own background is the Canadian military so the difference could be there. Actually its a bit strange, the Royal Regiment of Canadian Artillery (RCA for short) is older than Canada itself, it was formed in 1750. What stranger is that it was formed by at the time was the enemy - France.
